St.Lucia Whiptail Lizard

Scientists working for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust hope to introduce the critically endangered St Lucia whiptail lizard to rat-free habitats in the Carribean. Less than 2,500 of the reptiles remain in the wild because rodents eat the lizards' eggs.
