Goat meat, widely used in many parts of the world, is picking up in popularity in the U.S. Still, goats might likely be cloned more for the quality of the milk they produce for cheese, rather than their meat. Goats reproduce at about the same speed as pigs, so goat cheeses from clones are likely two and a half years away.
